Rakesh UV
Rakesh Unnikrishnan Vattakottil (UV is not ultraviolet ;)) is Bachelor of Electrical Engineer. Since college time he was very much interested in C. So he went on to pursue course in embedded systems in Bangalore and landed up with a job in Bombardier Transportation Vadodara. Well it was not a job he dreamt of but it was my good fortune to meet him here :-).
Later on we both went to get our masters degree in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani. Terrible idea to get a degree with job, but the experience made it clear, no more degree with job.
Rakesh has deep understanding on how C works, how compiler compiles, assembler assembles and finally all symbols resolved an exe is made.
He has coded a lot in C ( self study and on job both ), worked a lot in vim, and started to take interest in C++ now. No doubt he is working rigorously to get all knowledge of C++, he already talks like an experienced C++ programmer now.
When I used the internet to download softwares, serials and movies, he watched youtube tutorials, downloaded ubuntu and did some constructive tasks :) .
